Former Colorado Governor D. Lamm, who led the state for three terms, died Thursday. He was 85 years old.
Lamb’s wife, Dotti, said her husband died surrounded by his family. The cause was a complication of pulmonary embolism that the former governor suffered at the beginning of the week.

Ram was first elected in 1974, and the Democratic Party served as governor’s office for 12 years.
