Denver – Dick’s Sporting Goods Park will be fully operational for the Colorado Rapids match starting July 4, the club announced Thursday.
After late AprilApproximately 7,900 fans (44% of the stadium’s capacity) were able to watch Rapids directly, but the stadium’s capacity has more than doubled since the match against Seattle Sounders FC on July 4.
Rapids said the rules of Major League Baseball would fill the stadium with the exception of some specific areas. According to Rapids, hand sanitizer stations will be set up around the venue before and after the event, where cleaning and disinfection procedures will be carried out and cash will not be accepted.
The club said season ticket owners are likely to be able to return to their regular seats, adding that they will send more information to ticket owners by the weekend.
