Dixon, TN (WTVF) — TikTok is known for its friendly content, including viral dance and make-up hacks.
But one Dixon mom is using it to discuss something more serious: addiction.
36-year-old Tiffany Bradford 71,000 followers on TikTok.. But she is not your typical influencer.
At the age of 28, she fell deeply addicted.
“I worked in an adult entertainment business and club, when I was introduced to painkillers and pain managers,” Bradford said.
What started with tablets went on to methamphetamine.
“It’s a devil’s medicine, and it lets you do what you’ll never do in a million years,” Bradford said. Not like her, but addiction does not discriminate. “
For just £ 87, homeless Tiffany decided to check in for treatment in Burns, Tennessee, after her boyfriend at the time was in jail.
After hearing the man share his story, she called it the “light bulb moment” and she changed her attitude towards being clean.
When she began to clean, she decided to record her journey to inspire others.
Bradford says he can give her a purpose and motivate others to stay clean because she believes this is her story.
After being clean for almost three years, Bradford recently got married.
She is still working with me EB intervention, An organization that supports families and individuals dealing with addiction.
