Disneyland once again sets a reopening date for Disney Vacation Club villas – Orange County Register – Anaheim, California

Governor Gavin Newsom’s stay-at-home order delayed the gradual reopening of timeshare units in December, and Disneyland has once again set a reopening date for Disney Vacation Club villas.

Disney Vacation Club villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will reopen on May 2, according to a letter sent to DVC members.

“The West Coast cast members are excited to cast a spell again and become’Welcome back’members,” reads a letter to DVC members.

Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and other California theme parks are unlikely to be fully operational until spring or summer under the state-issued COVID-19 Health and Safety Resumption Guidelines.

In the early stages of phased resumption, only DVC villas will be reopened. The rest of Disney’s Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Spear Hotel will remain closed indefinitely.

Most meals, activities and services will be modified in limited capacity by the COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocol upon the first reopening of the DVC Villa.
