A month after the drunk driving arrest, Kingsburg’s councilor was formally charged and assigned a court date.
Jewel Hartado, known for his progressive politics in a conservative city, was arrested in Fresno on June 21 by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of drunk driving. The Fresno County District Law Firm has charged her three counts.
