Dog missing rescued after being discovered inside the wall in a home – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The fire brigade responded to reports of a dog stuck in the wall of Thompson Heights Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. I quickly noticed that there was a dog trapped between two concrete walls that fell through the gap. Officials said the best option was to break the wall with a hammer and open it, as there was no way to lift the dog through the gap. The crew immediately got to work and was able to break the wall in about 10 minutes. After breaking through the wall with a hammer, firefighter Jenny Adkins was able to reach out and pull the dog safely. A dog named Girdle was missing for five days, but is now believed to have been on the wall all the time. She soon reunited with her owner. Watch the rescue in the video above.
