Dog snatched by coyote in Mt. Juliet neighborhood – Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee

Wilson County, Tennessee (WKRN) — A dog was taken to a mountain coyote. According to his owner, Thursday morning in the Juliet district.

Madeline Starks told News 2 that a friend was watching her dog while she was away from town.

When a friend took the dog along the Oak Valley Drive around 6:30 am on Thursday, Starks said the coyote quickly ran up and grabbed her Yorkshire terrier, the Scout.

“He was walking in the yard as usual, and suddenly a coyote ran and grabbed him and ran away,” Starks explained.

She said, “A friend of our family who was watching over him was screaming to drop him,” but he ran away.

Starks posts across social media, shares photos of the scouts, and asks locals to monitor him.
