Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —The Douglas County Commission voted on Tuesday on how to distribute the $ 55.5 million received through the Federal United States Rescue Program.
The Board of Directors has decided to focus on:
- Address the needs of the county government first, then consider the demands from the public and private sectors.
- Prioritize mental health when spending money.
- Edit the master list and scrutinize your requests to determine if they are eligible for funding.
So far, the county has not distributed money.
