Dr. John Raymond predicts ‘quick’ approval from CDC, FDA committees for COVID-19 shots for 12-15-year-olds – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin 2021-05-11 20:34:33 –

Milwaukee — The FDA has approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12-15, but there are still more steps to take before this shot becomes a weapon.

“There’s still a little way to go. The FDA has a committee called the Vaccine-Related Biologics Advisory Board, which approves emergency use of vaccines for children aged 12 to 15 years,” said President and CEO of Wisconsin Medical College. Said Dr. John Raymond.

Dr. Raymond says the CDC also has a committee that needs to approve its use, but he expects both to approve by the weekend.

Economically, Milwaukee was named the top “unexpectedly wonderful” city by Esquire.

“Given the other four cities named Chattanooga, Tucson, Bend and San Antonio, we have a pretty good relationship and we have to realize that not many people experience Milwaukee. We are pleased to be on such a list that recognizes us for our culture, delicious food and architecture, “says Tim Sihee, president of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
