Las Vegas (KTNV) — DraftKings plans to open a new office in the southwestern part of the Las Vegas Valley, where more than 1,000 employees are expected to work.
On Monday, sports betting operators announced a 90,000-square-foot technology hub at UnCommons, a multi-purpose community workspace scheduled to open in 2022.
DraftKings says the new office is the company’s second largest and will closely model the Boston headquarters.
According to the press release, the office has “various entertainment and workstations” and “more than 130 dedicated sports trading desks surrounded by a complete multimedia wall.”
There is also a 7,500-square-foot cafeteria and event space, a custom casino training pit, 500-square-foot interactive putt-view putting greens, private and public outdoor spaces, and a Mothers Room. With this release, employees will have access to onsite haircuts, manicures, pedicures and access to an onsite prayer suite.
According to DraftKings, its presence in Las Vegas has increased by 400% since its first office opened in January 2020.
