ST. Louis (AP) — A driver accused of causing a red light in downtown St. Louis last year and killing a 17-year-old girl was charged with manslaughter.
East St. Louis Rajabion Ramsey, 26, was charged with St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Tuesday. report.. Prosecutors said he was driving a speed limit of more than 20 mph (32.2 kph) when his car collided with a pickup truck at a downtown intersection around 2:30 am on August 17.
According to police, DeSoto’s Sierra Rubymae Ward-Micke, 17, was in the truck bed when the crash occurred. She was thrown out of the truck and declared dead on the scene.
