NS. Louis (KMOV.com)-A driver was arrested in downtown St. Louis over the weekend in connection with a number of alleged collisions with a carriage.

Juan Tzoy, 37, was arrested shortly after the incident on Saturday night. Police reported in News 4 that Tsoj was driving a white pickup truck near No. 9 and Olive crashed into a carriage several times and hit a horse. He fled the scene, but was later arrested on the 11th and near the Locust intersection, police said.

The St. Louis carriage company says Tsoj drove aggressively towards several other carriages on Saturday night, but didn’t hit any of them. A spokesman for the company said the force of the collision lifted the entire rear end of the carriage and shifted it by 5 feet. Passengers, drivers and horses are all okay, the spokesman added.

Police have asked prosecutors to prosecute Tzoy for three second assaults and one animal cruelty.
