Great Bend, Kansas (KSNW) -The driver was taken to the hospital when the cement truck fell on the railroad tracks.
According to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, the truck rolled on Monday at around 2:30 pm on Washington and Railroad Avenue.
The sheriff’s office said the 26-year-old driver entered the curve connecting to Washington Street too fast to negotiate the curve, water moved in the drums and the truck fell.
The driver was transferred to the University of Kansas Health Systems-Great Bend Campus for a non-life-threatening injury.
The road was closed for about an hour so that the tracks could be inspected.
