Wichita, Kansas 2021-05-04 07:08:56 –
The next shower batch tracks central and eastern Kansas. Bad weather is not an issue, as there was very little lightning or lightning all night long.
Rain showers can be prolonged by the morning in south-central Kansas, but the rains end soon as the showers continue to track the east. The high pressure temporarily rises, not only helping to kick the rain east, but also to clean our sky.
High temperatures are below average in the 1960s, but are comfortable considering the clear sky. The wind gets a little stronger as you go south and east.
As another disturbance approaches, the high pressure begins to collapse and slides east. Some showers and storms enter from the west tonight and head east on Wednesday.
Wake up with a few showers on the Storm Tracker Radar and cool the air after the minimum temperature drops in the 1940s. There may be a dry period at noon on Wednesday, but some subsequent showers in the afternoon will also be tracked from west to east. One or two storms can occur as this secondary wave passes.
The isolated shower associated with the reception will move by Thursday. However, interruptions between systems are easy. If another front comes in, there could be more showers and storms by Friday.
The front will be lifted above us to allow warm air from the 70’s and 80’s to flow in, but it will slow down and the sky may become unstable early next week.
