Colorado Springs — A five-year project took place this weekend at the Ribbon Cut Ceremony at the Ed Robson Arena and Mike and Barbara Yarich Student Service Center on the University of Colorado campus.

The Robson Arena will allow CC hockey teams to play games on campus for the first time in the program’s 83-year history. Meanwhile, the Mike and Barbarayarich Student Service Center, adjacent to the arena, has a student wellness center and health facilities. Services and counseling, bookstores and email centers, art studios, cafes, restaurants.
“It’s hard to say in words what this means for our campus and community,” said Leslie Irvine, vice president and track and field director at Colorado College. “Edrovson Arena makes us more competitive, but the opportunity to build a community on campus or in the city is not exciting. It was a transformational day for Colorado College.”
