Kinsley, Kansas (KSNW) – A sheriff in Edwards County was arrested on Sunday on charges of domestic violence.
According to the Kansas Research Bureau, a 911 call was made from Kinsley’s home at around 7:40 pm.
According to KBI, an adjutant to the Edwards County Sheriff’s Office arrived and learned that Kinsley’s Robert “Bobby” Blackwell, 39, was involved in a physical quarrel. At around 8:15 pm, the sheriff’s office contacted KBI to investigate the case.
KBI agents collected evidence and conducted interviews. As a result, KBI said Blackwell was arrested on suspicion of deteriorating household batteries and booked in Ford County Detention Center.
