El Paso County, Colorado – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Victim Assistance Program requires highly motivated individuals to join the team.

The Volunteer Victim Support Program consists of civilian volunteers working with staff from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Advocates provide emotional support, short-term crisis intervention, community referrals, and resources to victims of crime in our community. Volunteers assist staff supporters to ensure 24-hour coverage seven days a week within the unincorporated area of ​​El Paso County.

The 12-week training academy is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 21, 2022. Classes are held two nights a week, tentatively on Monday and Thursday nights.
