El Paso County — On Monday night, along with the Colorado Patrol, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office tracked and arrested a suspected domestic violence that kidnapped a woman.
According to a press release, Sheriff’s Office El Paso was investigating 29-year-old Kenneth Arcreta on various domestic violence complaints. As a result of these investigations, he was arrested and two separate felony warrants were issued.
After 10 pm on Monday night, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was informed that Kenneth was in a stolen vehicle near 1700 blocks in Hampton South.
When the agent arrived, Kenneth reportedly drove at high speed. Victims of domestic violence-related accusations were also in the car, and it was later determined that she had been detained against her will.
Several EPSOs and Colorado Patrol Units have begun efforts to locate vehicles. Initially it was very close to a residential area. When law enforcement came in, Kenneth deliberately collided with one of the EPSO vehicles, invalidated it, and fled again.
Law enforcement continued to track Kenneth until his car was invalidated.
He was detained and the woman was rescued from the car. She was treated for minor injuries and no one else was injured.
Kenneth was booked in El Paso County Prison for the following felony: one worse car theft, vehicle escape, victim or witness threats, two kidnappings, two assaults on peace officers. , Vehicle assault, and criminal mischief, and numerous felony and traffic-related crimes.
