Elyria, Ohio (WJW) – 12-year-old Fiona Duncan is the operator of a popular lemonade stand Elyria The last 3 years.

“It really inspired me because I want to help kids like me,” she said.
Life has never been easier for Fiona. She was born with a condition called craniosynostosis. Craniosynostosis leaves the baby’s skull bones to fuse prematurely, leaving no room for the brain to grow.
Fiona’s parents say she has endured reconstructive surgery and long hospital stays for many years.
“I always call her my little trooper. She’s a very nice girl. She’s very nervous and very worried, but then she’s worried about everyone else,” she said. Said her mother, Caitlin Valley.
Her stepfather, Brandon Valley, adds: She has experienced everything so far, and she always has a positive outlook. “

“I feel really good because I know I helped someone well and saved my life that day,” she said.
