Emporia, Kansas (KSNT) — The landmark restaurant in Emporia, which was destroyed by a fire on August 14, will be demolished.

According to Clarence Frey, General Manager of Flint Hills Mall, the building will be “demolitioned” on Thursday, October 14, just two months after the Coach’s Bar & Grill was in flames.

With a step-by-step approach, investigators can “map the interior” because collapsed buildings are not safe for firefighters and investigators to enter.

Industrial Wrecking allows you to slowly and safely knock down a building and conduct a fire investigation on the insurance company’s adjuster.

Mr Frey said no decision had been made on the restructuring of the structure. The building will level and be carried away.
