End of Watch mobile memorial honors Manatee deputy who died in the line of duty – Tampa, Florida

Bradenton, Florida — “Beyond Call of Duty Ride Tree” Mobile Memorial stopped in Manatee County on Monday to honor Deputy Douglas Clark.

“He was one of the good guys,” said his widow, Callen Clarke.

Clark died last August after being infected with COVID-19 during his mission.

He is one of more than 600 police officers remembered in a monument honoring law enforcement agencies across the country who died on duty in 2021.

“These are all beautiful men and women who have stories. They are all brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and we seem to forget that they made the ultimate sacrifice.” Jagrut Shah said. Founder of duty.

The mobile monument will stop more than 200 times this summer in honor of the fallen police officers during their 80-day trip across the country.
