Botox injections help reduce the painful pelvic spasms caused by endometriosis, small clinical trials show.

Endometriosis occurs when tissue from the uterus spreads to other parts of the pelvis and often causes painful cramps in the muscles of the pelvic floor. Physical therapy and painkillers can help, but many people with endometriosis experience severe seizures even with these treatments.
