The first autumn cold front of South Texas is coming.

Starting Tuesday afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms will cause the area to warm slightly, with a cold front passing through South Texas all night, according to Corpus Christi’s National Weather Service.

Interspersed showers and thunderstorms bring slightly warmer temperatures to the region from Tuesday afternoon, after which a cold front wipes South Texas all night.

Cool temperatures begin on Wednesday, with highs high in the 1980s and lows lasting from the mid-1960s to weekends.

It can rain one-tenth to one-quarter of an inch in the area between midnight and 5 am on Tuesday. Before 7am on Wednesday, there is a 30% chance of a thunderstorm or thunderstorm.

It is expected to be sunny from Thursday to Monday.
