Sheriff County, South Carolina (WSPA) – The Sheriff’s Office in Spartanburg County honors an officer who collapsed at a wreath ceremony on Friday morning.
Since 1962, the United States has set aside May 15 each year to commemorate all law enforcement officers who have died in service of the community.
Since May 15th is this Sunday, Honorary Guards of Spartanberg County monitored this day on Friday.
At the ceremony, 15 corrupt officers at a monument outside the sheriff’s office were read, garlands were placed, and honorary guards salute the rifle.
During the ceremony, taps were played and flags were lowered.
