Family dog rescued from Murfreesboro fire | News – Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee

Murfreesboro, Tennessee. (WSMV)-A dog was pulled out of a house fire and treated in Murfreesboro on Saturday afternoon.

According to Murfreesboro Fire Rescue, the house in 1600 blocks of Idol Wood Drive was quickly extinguished and the dog Jewel was pulled away from the house.

The captain takes Jewel to the River Rock Animal Hospital, where the owner says she’s doing well.

Jewel was given oxygen and IV during his trip to the hospital.

No other injuries have been reported. Investigators are at the scene of regular investigations.
