Oklahoma City (KFOR) – Michael Stephenson lived in Oklahoma City for decades with his wife Melinda Young before his work took him to Florida a few years ago.
That’s where he is Died of COVID August 3-I didn’t vaccinate because I thought it was a government conspiracy.
“Shot would have saved him, Shot would have saved him,” Young lamented.
Stevenson, 50, called the COVID vaccine a government conspiracy.
“Many people think that shots are a way to track people. [that] The government is tracking people, or they are trying to take too much control, “Young said.
She said Stevenson believed that medical professionals were under government authority. He also believed that the number of deaths from COVID was swelled by the government and that many of those deaths alleged to be due to the virus were due to other causes.
He had not yet been vaccinated after his father died of COVID in April.
Two months later, Stevenson was admitted to the hospital and is now a victim of the virus.
“Within 48 hours of hospitalization, he was already so miserable that he wished he had been shot,” Young said. “His body hurt. He couldn’t breathe. He wanted to get it.”
His family was suffering when he fought for his life on a ventilator.

“It was so ups and downs, a moment of hope that I couldn’t even explain,” Young said in tears. “I thought he was going to get it done. We thought he was going to get it done.”
A week and a half after being hospitalized, the doctor asked Stevenson to pull him away from the machine. Young gave permission.
“That was the worst thing I’ve ever done in my life,” she said.
She is now asking the general public to get the vaccine.
“Don’t do it for you,” she said. “Because you need to study people who love you. Do your homework and see why you need that shot.”
She believes that saving lives can be Stevenson’s legacy.
“We promised he wouldn’t die in vain,” she said. “No one we can touch is worthy of it, so we never experience what we have experienced.”
After Stevenson’s death on August 3, one of his sons, who chose not to be vaccinated, finally went and was shot.
