Family hits traffic, baby born inside vehicle along highway – New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans, Louisiana 2021-06-19 08:01:00 –

The boy’s name is Xavier and he decides to come to Milton’s South Eastern Freeway. A few weeks early. Weeks and a few left early firefighter John Wells holding a baby Xavier earlier this afternoon. Just minutes after he was born, the Stortons were caught in a traffic jam to 93 north on their way to the hospital. The highways are chaotic and can be crowded, especially on a daily basis, as there is not much traffic to get ambulances out onto the freeway. It may take some time. The couple decided to pull shortly after the father gave birth to his own baby in the breakdown lane, before the paramedics arrived as parents. Parents just want to know that their baby is healthy and their mother is healthy. That is the final result. .. You know, we got what we needed. Then an ambulance from South Shore Hospital happened to pass by and helped cut and clamp the umbilical cord. The firefighter then took the baby to an ambulance at a nearby brewery. Next, I put my mom on a stretcher, took both to the Beth Israel Dikones Medical Center, and tapped her back. For the work I did well for my dad. It was my mom’s third. But for a dad who has a boy on Father’s Day weekend, it’s also pretty cool. Moms and babies are said to be doing well tonight. We are in Longwood. I’m Peter Iliopoulos from WCVB News Center Five. Okay.
