Beaver Falls, PA (KDKA) — The Beaver Falls family is desperately looking for a 13-year-old daughter who has fled the Behavioral Medical Hospital in Ohio.
Lacy Eaton has fled the Belmont Pines Hospital in Youngstown, her family said. Eaton’s mother, Ashley, made her second trip to Youngstown on Monday in search of Lacy.
The mother said her daughter told her that the facility was not helping her.
“Please come back. I’ll pick you up. You don’t have to go back to Belmont. I understand that the facility isn’t helping you. Just please, baby, please call me. I’m I’m in the area. I’m in the Youngstown area right now. I, Puppy, and Auntie are looking for you, “Ashley told KDKA’s Jennifer Borasso.
Lacy and three other girls fled Belmont Pines on Saturday afternoon. Police searched the area but could not find a teenager. Police are investigating a connection with one of the girls in the Cleveland area.
Ashley said she plans to visit her daughter on Sunday. She said Laci suffered from a mental illness and about a month had passed since her 90-day stay began.
“I’m looking here and there. I’m not angry with you. I’m not going to punish you. I won’t let you go back to the facility. You ask me to take you out for a reason. I know I begged. Mom will come to save you, “Ashley said.
KDKA’s Jennifer Borasso called the hospital for comment and was told to call back on Tuesday. At the beginning of Monday, the facility’s CEO issued a statement and the hospital could review and improve the case. He said he was deciding whether.
