Las Vegas (KLAS) — About 3 weeks ago Concert attendees at Allegiant Stadium described the transfer to and from the parking lot and venue as a “nightmare.”
The CONCACAF Gold Cup final on Sunday night includes all the elements of the same scene.
Videos and photos were posted on social media showing a long line and crowded area outside the Allegiant stadium before the kick-off between the US and Mexican national football teams.
A warning sign was posted on the I-15 by the Nevada Department of Transportation throughout the week, warning drivers to find another route on Sunday evening. The road near the stadium is closed due to the event.
The Allegiant stadium has a capacity of 65,000. The Gold Cup final is reportedly a crowd sold out.
