Our family-owned farm in Dawset uses many of these same agroecological farming methods to produce meat, cheese, vegetables and apple juice. I work on policies to help the industry make a major transition to nature-friendly agriculture that restores biodiversity while mitigating the effects of climate change.

The UK Government reforms its agricultural subsidy system to pay farmers to restore our soil, plant trees and provide sustainable employment, rather than just paying to boost production is needed. Many new entrants to agriculture want to feed and heal the planet alongside traditional farmers and indigenous peoples.
