The U.S. government’s road safety agency has sent a team to investigate the possibility that Tesla was involved in an accident that killed three people in California.

At the time of the accident, the car was reportedly driven by a partially automated driving system.

On Wednesday, the Department of Road Safety confirmed that it had dispatched a special collision investigation team to investigate the May 12 collision on the Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

This investigation is part of a larger agency investigation into crashes related to advanced driver assistance systems such as Tesla’s autopilot.

Since 2016, agencies have sent teams to 34 crashes where the system is in use or suspected of working, according to an NHTSA document released Wednesday.

According to the document, 15 people were killed in the crash being investigated by NHTSA.

The other 15 were injured.
