Richard MuncieNine people charged with killing Kali Smith are in a final pre-trial in the case on Monday.
Victims’ families and friends want to get Smith’s justice.
Last summer, investigators found Smith’s body in a landfill in Geneva.
Police tracked 50-year-old Muncie in Geauga County shortly after the murder.
Muncie is faced with exacerbation of murder, assault of felony, exacerbation of robbery, exacerbation of robbery, and falsification of evidence. He entered acquittal for all charges.
Muncie is held in $ 2 million in bonds.
According to court records, Muncie was previously arrested for possession of drugs and violent assault.
North Royalton police also told the Fox 8I team that Smith had filed an assault report two weeks before Muncie’s death.
