Tampa, Florida (CW44 News At 10) – Divers found the body of a suffering swimmer, who was last seen struggling in Tampa Bay on Friday morning.
According to the Tampa Police Department, police officers and Tampa Fire Rescue were reported to be suffering from the reported swimmers.
Just before 11:00 am on Friday morning. According to witnesses, a man was seen about 100 yards southwest of 33 South Treasure Drive in Calbres Bayeux near the beach park area of South Tampa, south of I-275.
Witnesses say he saw a man screaming for help before he collapsed. The boat unit with the diver responded to the scene with TPD Aviation Service to find the man.
Just before 3:00 pm today, Tampa police issued a statement that the diver had regained the body of an unidentified male swimmer. No details have been released regarding the situation of male death.
