Fire crews free Bubba the dog from underground drainage pipe – New Orleans, Louisiana

Members of the Boston Fire Department were able to release a dog stuck in a park drain on Wednesday afternoon. The dog stayed in the underground pipe of Millennium Park in West Roxbury for about two hours. After being rescued, a four-year-old Foxhound dog called Hubert but Baba was unharmed. The National Grid said a backhoe was brought in to assist in the rescue, and Baba’s owner said the dog had entered the open culvert of the park and was stranded. Boston Fire said he used the camera to locate the dog.

Members of the Boston Fire Department managed to release a dog stuck in a park drain on Wednesday afternoon.

The dog was stuck in an underground pipe at Millennium Park in West Roxbury for about two hours.

The dog, a 4-year-old Foxhound named Hubert, nicknamed Baba, remained intact after being rescued.

The crew was seen scraping soil from the area next to the fence along the sidewalk. The National Grid said backhoes were brought in to assist in the rescue.

Baba’s owner said the dog was stuck in an open culvert in the park.

Boston Fire said he used the camera to locate the dog.
