Firefighters extinguish two-alarm fire in Kaimuki – Honolulu, Hawaii

Honolulu (KHON2) — The Honolulu Fire Department has answered an emergency call regarding a “smoke spectacle” in a one-story house in Oililoop.

The incident happened around 3:57 am on Monday. The firefighters arrived at the scene at around 4:07 am.

According to HFD, there were no residents at the time of the fire and the fire was extinguished by 5:02 am. Fans were used to ventilate smoke and overheating gas from the structure.

At this time, the estimated damage is unknown. HFD investigators are investigating.
