Firefighters rescue two paddleboarders in Willamette River – Portland, Oregon

KOIN, Oregon-Newberg firefighters rescued two paddleboarders on the Willamette River on Saturday. Tweets from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue..

Officials said the rescue took place near the crossing of highway 219.

The paddle borders were separated by river, but both were found and transported to arid land. One was exposed to the cold and was taken to the hospital.

The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office and the Newberg-Dundee Police Station helped rescue the TVFR.
