Bentonville, Ark — A young woman talked to a major clothing company about her thoughts on pocketless jeans and learned how to convince her.
Kamlin Gardner, a freshman in Bentonville, Arkansas, decided to write to Old Navy for a class assignment to write a compelling letter.
She was angry that the front pocket of the girl’s jeans was fake.
“I want to put my hands in the front pockets, so I want the front pockets. I want to put things in them too,” Gardner wrote in her letter.
Old Navy replied that the children’s product team “thanks for your information. Great feedback for us when developing a new product.”
In addition to the written response, Gardner was sent four pairs of jeans and jeans shorts with real pockets in front.
“Camlin, you proudly own those pockets! Praise the Old Navy for making this first grade day and our day!” Gardner’s school district was posted.
