Boston- As announced on Monday, five members of the Boston University Women’s Ice Hockey Team have been selected as National Hockey Students by the American Hockey Coach Association (AHCA).
Rachel Allen, Kaleigh Donnelly, Catherine Furem, Corinne Schroeder When Kate Stuart Extraordinary work in the classroom was recognized. To qualify, student athletes must have achieved a 3.60 GPA in each semester.
This is the third time Allen and Schroeder have won this honor. Allen graduated with a degree in biomedical engineering in May, and Schroeder earned a dual degree in psychology and health sciences. Stuart has earned national scholarship in each of the last two years. She pursues a degree in Business Administration and Business Administration. Donnelly (biology) and Foulem (biochemistry and molecular biology) are the first choices, and Foulem does so as a freshman.
BU boasts at least 5 AHCA All-American scalars in the last 4 years.
