The flag of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will be lowered on Wednesday, September 22nd to commemorate UNO employee Janin Brooks.
Janine died on September 12, 2021 at the age of 55. She has been a staff associate in the chemistry department since 2008, a graduate of UNO, and earned a master’s degree in English in 2018.
Janine survived by her daughter Ally. Parents Duane and Janice. Sisters and brothers: Jeanette Herron, Bobbie, Pat, Diane Costanzo, and Katie.
A worship service for Janine was held on Saturday, September 18th.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community lie in Janine’s loved ones during this period.
