The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) flag will be hung on Wednesday, June 1st to commemorate UNO’s retired Janmac.
Jean died on April 22, 2022 at the age of 79. She originally joined UNO in November 1979 as a member of the Chris Library, just three years after the library opened, in 2005.
Jean died before her death with her partners Joe and Lillian Daeyoungji. And her brother, John. She has survived by her husband Walter. Sons CJ Mack and Joel (Mary-Louise) Mack. Grandson Malcolm Scott; and granddaughter Harriet Scott.
The service took place on April 27, 2022.
The thoughts and condolences of the college community lie in Jean’s loved ones during this period.
