Flash Flood watch continues for Coastal Bend Saturday – Riverside, California

Flash flood surveillance will continue until Saturday night in coastal bends and surrounding areas.

According to the National Meteorological Service, it is expected to rain 2-4 inches in the Corpus Christi area in the last 24 hours and another 2-4 inches on Saturday.

Flash flood surveillance will continue tonight at coastal bends, coastal plains, and Victorian intersections. Thunderstorms are expected to occur throughout the region on Saturday.

With scattered thunderstorms expected on Saturday, the NWS warned of possible local flash floods in flood-prone areas.

The Coastal Flood Recommendation is valid until Saturday afternoon for all beaches facing the bay.

Sundays are sunny and warm, with a maximum of 88 and a minimum of 73 expected.
