Cleveland (WJW) – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame We announced the 2021 enrollment class on Wednesday.

Performers are Foo Fighters, Go Goes, Jay-Z, Carole King, Todd Rundgren and Tina Turner. This is the first time the Foo Fighters, Go Goes and Jay-Z have voted.

In a news release, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President John Sykes said, “This diverse class of talented enrollees reflects Hall’s ongoing commitment to honoring the artists whose music created the sound of youth culture. Musicians must release their first album 25 years ago to qualify.

The Ahmet Ertegun Award is presented to Clarence Avant. LL Cool J, Billy Preston and Randy Rhoads win the Musical Excellence Awards. Kraftwerk, Gil Scott-Heron and Charley Patton win Early Influence Awards.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame entrance ceremony will take place on October 30th at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.
