Hampton Roads, Virginia (WAVY) — FM99 and 106.9 The Fox team states that more than 1.1 million meals will be served locally by food banks as a result of donations at the 24th Mayflower Marathon.
To be precise, approximately 1,101,822 meals will be served from the collection collected at the weekend event from Friday, November 20th to Sunday, November 22nd.

Collection spots have been featured in Hampton, Tab, Virginia Beach and North Suffolk. All food and money donations collected at Virginia Beach and Suffolk went to food banks in southeastern Virginia and the east coast. All donations made at the Hampton and Tab locations were sent to the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank.
