A state police detective began investigating Gordon in 2018 and learned that she had been imprisoned in connection with drug smuggling into the Plymouth County House of Corrections.
According to investigators, Gordon was arrested on May 4, 2018, when he was admitted to jail with the privileges of a lawyer, giving prisoners 61 Svoxon strips.
When the prisoner returned to his cell, the drug was confiscated by prison officials.
