Brandon Saad, a former Avalanche player who won the Stanley Cup twice, sold his home in Denver after signing a $ 22.5 million deal with St. Louis Bruce in July.
Saad and his wife Alyssa sold a 5,847-square-foot washpark home on September 10 at 1102 S. York St. for $ 3.05 million. Initially listed on August 13th for $ 2,875,000.
The couple didn’t live there for a long time. According to real estate records, they purchased a 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom home for $ 2,675,000 in December 2020.
Saad was drafted into the NHL by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2011 and won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2013 and 2015. He was traded to Columbus Blue Jackets and then returned to Chicago.
In October 2020, the Blackhawks exchanged him for a second Colorado Avalanche. At Avalanche, he scored 24 points in 44 regular season games and 8 points in 10 playoff games. But after a season, Avalanche couldn’t afford to keep the third.
