Putnam County, Tennessee (WKRN) — A man in New Jersey was charged with abducting his son and killing the boy’s mother after the body of a 24-year-old woman was found in Putnam County.
The body, Yasmine Wuyeer, was discovered early in the morning of July 10, after an Amber Alert was issued to his two-year-old son Sebastian the night before. Deputies of Monterey police and Sheriff Putnam County placed the boy’s father, Tylarios, at the Bethel Inn Hotel after being informed about his whereabouts. Officials said Sebastian was found unharmed and Rios led them to Wuyeer’s body, just inside the Monterey city border on Highway 70.
An autopsy performed at Uyar determined that her death was a murder.
Rios was previously charged with one kidnapping, but is now charged with one murder.
Tyler Rios remained in custody in Putnam County until New Jersey authorities handed him over to New Jersey. He effectively appeared in court on July 20th.
