Kansas City, Missouri — A man who worked as a volleyball coach for a women’s club in Kansas City, Kansas, faces sexual exploitation of alleged children.

Levinson “Levi” Gibson, 27, surrendered Wednesday and was listed as a prisoner in Leavenworth County Prison.

The investigation began in July 2020 when the Leavenworth County Security Officer’s Office received information that Gibson had asked for nude photos from a boy volleyball player, according to a Kansas Research Agency news release.

Gibson worked for Dynasty Volleyball, one of the region’s top volleyball clubs.

According to the release, authorities searched the club 10 days after the allegations surfaced.

Gibson soon resigned.

According to the release, Gibson came from his home in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Evidence that there are more casualties has not surfaced, but investigators want to hear from anyone who has information about the case.
