Pittsburgh (KDKA) — A former school bus driver in Monesen was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Jack Laforte was sentenced to 78 months in prison and 15 years under surveillance on Thursday after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography last year.
The 56-year-old was under investigation after the Department of Homeland Security was warned about uploading child pornography from an IP address that arrived at Laforte’s home in Monessen.
In June 2019, law enforcement officials seized a laptop and a forensic review revealed a video depicting the sexual exploitation of minors. This includes minors who are not yet 12 years old.
