Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick will release a book in October.

On Tuesday, the free agent announced that his publisher, Kaepernick Publishing, would publish an anthology of essays on police and prison abolition.

“Abolition for People: A Movement for the Future Without Police and Prisons” includes essays from 30 contributors.

Kaepernick himself was the editor.

This book will be on the shelves on October 12th.

The subject of abolishing police and prisons has been inspired by Capernick for years.
