Christina Applegate: ‘I wish I had been more careful’ as multiple sclerosis symptoms worsened

Christina Applegate opened up about the difficulties of living together multiple sclerosisand signs of illness such as numbness and tingling sensations in her limbs that occurred years before her formal diagnosis.

There was some question whether filming of “Dead To Me” could resume, but Applegate insisted that he use a wheelchair to proceed with the filming and have a friend take his feet off the camera from time to time. Some changes were also made to the script to accommodate energy and stamina levels during filming.

“I’ve put on 40 pounds. I can’t walk without a cane. I want people to know that I’m fully aware of all that,” Applegate said.

MS affects nearly 1 million adults in the United States and can be disabling.
